This beautiful and rather unusual Victorian locket is crafted from 9ct gold, 'F&B'.   To be more specific, this locket's make up is known as ‘back and front’. This means that the front and back are curated in 9ct gold but there is a metal frame on the inside to strenghten it.

The locket features a large buckle from its top to its bottom, which is adorned with ornate and detailed foliate engravings all around it.   

This special antique locket is empty inside, ready for your photos or a keepsake of a loved one. It measures 2.5cm long x 2cm wide and it weighs 5.39g.  It remains in extremely good condition for its age, and it closes securely.
